Transdisciplinary Graduate Programs

Tackle complex problems, transcend boundaries and engage community.

What are transdisciplinary graduate programs?

In the Faculty of Graduate Studies, we are uniquely positioned to bring together individuals working across disciplinary boundaries. Transdisciplinary graduate programs are the right place for anyone who wants to pursue graduate education that transcends traditional subject areas to pursue cutting-edge research and scholarship and solve real world problems in their own communities.

Is transdisciplinary scholarship right for me?

Anyone more interested in solving specific problems than staying within disciplinary boundaries might find themselves at home in transdisciplinary scholarship. You may be working full-time and looking for a graduate certificate or laddered master’s to help you learn more about a specific issue. You may be interested in developing research skills to tackle complex problems and have the time to commit to a thesis-based master’s or PhD. Whatever your disciplinary background and work experience, we will work with you to find the right pathway.
