Sagar Parekh, who is currently seen playing the lead in the TV show Jagriti, has developed a great bond with his Anupamaa co-actor Nishi Saxena. The two are good friends now and Sagar shares how they bonded much after his exit from the show, two years ago. The couple is often seen posting pictures of their trips and dinner outings on their social media account. Sagar said, " Nishi and I were paired together in Anupamaa. At that time we did not connect so much. But, after my exit from the show, many people felt that we had a good chemistry and when we started putting reels together, we realised how people loved our pairing."
Sagar denies that there is anything beyond friendship. He said, "People might assume that there is more to this friendship but that's not true. We are just good friends and since we both enjoy travelling and trying new cuisines, we have become good friends. I had bonded very well with some of the actors in Anupamaa. Nishi and I do travel for work and enjoy our friendship."
Sagar shares further, "I am focussing on my work and want to establish myself in my career before I get married or be in a relationship. In Jagriti, I have an interesting roles and am glad that after Jhalak, I have bagged interesting projects."
Before the generation leap in Anupamaa, Sagar played Anupama's (Rupali Ganguly) son who is married to Nishi Saxena's character Dimpy. But Sagar's character is killed in an eatery when everyone goes to party. After his exit from the show, the show took a generation leap a few months ago.
