Bigg Boss 18: Karan Veer Mehra opens up about losing his father at the age of 10; says 'Main apne dad ki death par nahi roya'

Bigg Boss 18's latest episode was packed with action, drama and emotion. Contestants were not only seen getting into arguments with each other but also took their revenge as they performed their first nomination task. However, the episode also witnessed a heartwarming moment when Karan Veer Mehra opened up about his father and losing him at the young age of 10.
In a heartfelt moment on Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra shared the emotional experience of losing his father when he was just 10 years old.He revealed that he didn't cry at his dad's death, expressing the deep impact it had on his life. Shehzada Dhami and Karan Veer Mehra were working out together when Shehzada inquired about Karan's father's passing, as he has also experienced the loss of his own father.
Karan shared that he was barely 10 years old when his father passed away. The actor shared his thoughts, saying, “He was very loving.” When Shehzada mentioned that a child needs both a father and mother in life, Karan responded, "But meri mom ne na jisse kehte hain na ek percent ki bhi kami nahi hone di. Abhi woh dekh rahi hongi na yeh toh ro rahi hongi dabaa ke. Ye cheezein sun ke mere se. Kyunki aaj tak humne kabhi in cheezon par baat bhi nahi kari hai. Kyunki main pala hoon ek dum strict boys don't cry waale zone mein. Main roya nahi aaj tak kabhi apne dad ki death par bhi nahi." (But my mom made sure that there was not even a one percent lack. She must be watching this now and crying quietly. We’ve never really talked about these things because I grew up in an environment where boys are taught not to cry. I have never cried even after my dad's death).

Shehzada adds he also didn't cry when his father passed away.
He further added, "Par actually bataata hoon kis baat par roya tha.. jab unki death hui toh unko cover rakha hua tha..do din pehle unki mucche cut gayi thi galti se blade lag gaya tha. Toh main bada hasaa tha.. abbe mucche cut gayi.. toh unhone bola do din mein aajayegi. Next do din mein unki death hogayi. Sab ro rahe the aur main paani pilaa raha hoon.. sabko amazed horaha tha.. ke ye ro bhi nahi raha hai kuch nahi farak pad raha.. sabne mujhe pressurise karna shuru kar diya beta tereko he sab sambhalna hai.. ab tuhi hai bada ghar ka... toh mujhe woh responsibility se aise chiddh si hogayi ke main kyu karunga. I was just 10 years old and they were taking him and I asked to see his face..Kisi ne bola jaate hue bye boldo chehra dekh lo. Jab dekha na toh unki mucche nahi aayi hui thi... mujhe uss baat par rona aagaya... Woh last roya hounga main.."
(Actually, I did cry once. When my father passed away, he had been covered. Just two days before, he had accidentally cut his mustache with a blade, and I found it hilarious, joking that it would grow back in two days. But then, just two days later, he passed away. While everyone was crying, I was busy giving them water, and they were all amazed that I wasn’t crying at all. They started pressuring me, saying, ‘You have to handle everything now; you're the man of the house.’ I was just 10 years old, and as they took him away, I wanted to see his face. Someone said to say goodbye and look at him one last time. When I saw him, I noticed that his mustache wasn’t there, and that’s when I finally cried. That was the last time I shed tears).
In another incident an ugly spat broke between Rajat Dalal and Avinash Mishra. Rajat lost his cool on Avinash for the way he spoke to him. He was seen threatening him.
