OnePlus Buds Pro 3 in new Sapphire Blue colour: Get the Pro audio experience

OnePlus has expanded its premium audio lineup with the introduction of the Buds Pro 3 in a new Sapphire Blue colour. This new variant complements the OnePlus 13’s Midnight Ocean colour option and will be available along with the existing Lunar Radiance and Midnight Opus variants to offer users a fresh aesthetic choice. We have used the new Sapphire Blue variant of the Buds Pro 3 for some time and here are our first impressions of the earbuds.

The Sapphire Blue Buds Pro 3 maintains the signature dual-tone finish characteristic of the series.The earbuds feature a glossy stem paired with a matte-finished upper section, providing a sleek and modern look. The charging case, now pebble-shaped, boasts a leathery texture on the front and back, with metallic-finished sides, enhancing its premium appeal. The charging case has a nice in-hand feeling while the earbuds offer a snug fit.

Co-created with Dynaudio, the Buds Pro 3 are equipped with dual drivers—an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter—each powered by a dedicated Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC). With this setup, the earbuds deliver a balanced and immersive audio experience for us.
From bass-heavy tracks to hits that need clarity in higher frequencies, the Buds Pro 3 handles all types of music with ease. We haven’t faced any distortion or irregularities while listening to music on these earbuds until now.
The earbuds also offer adaptive noise cancellation of up to 50dB. During our usage, the earbuds effectively minimised ambient sounds for an uninterrupted listening experience.
These earbuds also support Google's spatial audio technology, providing a surround sound experience, and the LHDC 5.0 codec with up to a 1Mbps transmission rate, ensuring high-resolution audio streaming.
Additionally, the Buds Pro 3 includes a cervical spine health monitoring function when used with a compatible device.

For durability, the Buds Pro 3 comes with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. These promise up to 43 hours of total playback with the charging case and 10 hours of standalone use without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
The case supports wireless charging, and a quick 10-minute charge provides up to 5.5 hours of playback, ensuring users can enjoy extended listening sessions with minimal downtime.
With the Steady Connect feature that increases the wireless connectivity range of up to 360 metres, we were easily able to roam around the office floor even when we left the connected smartphone at our seat.
