OnePlus has done it again! The OnePlus 13 is a premium phone that seems to deliver on almost all fronts. OnePlus 13 comes with a sleek design, impressive Hasselblad camera and long-lasting battery. Priced starting at Rs 69,999, does the OnePlus 13 have it all to be called a true flagship contender? Here are our first impressions.
Design and display
OnePlus 13 looks stunning. The shimmery, marble-like back panel and smooth finish give it a luxurious feel. It’s comfortable to hold and comes with an IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The phone sports 6.82-inch Quad HD+ ProXDR Display with LTPO 4.1, 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, and is protected by Ceramic Guard cover glass.
Performance and camera
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the OnePlus 13 should fly through demanding tasks and games without breaking a sweat. During our limited time with the phone, we found that multitasking is a breeze, and the stereo speakers provide an immersive audio experience.
The fifth generation Hasselblad-branded camera system is a highlight. The 50MP main sensor captured stunning photos with excellent detail and colour accuracy, even in low light. The ultrawide and telephoto lenses are equally impressive, offering versatility and zoom capabilities.
The 6,000 mAh battery on the OnePlus 13 comes with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless charging is a welcome bonus. The phone runs OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, offers a smooth and customisable experience with loads of useful AI-powered features.
What we think
OnePlus seems to hit another home run with the OnePlus 13. During the limited time we used the OnePlus 13, appears to be a good flagship phone that offers incredible value for its price, and can be termed as a strong competitor to the other high-end devices. But how well it does in our rigorous tests, you’ll have to wait for the full review.
