Tesla boss and tech mogul Elon Musk recently made a stirring claim that Grok AI could effectively diagnose medical injuries when the professional healthcare provider could not. Naturally, Musk’s claim left the internet divided and confused and somewhat doubtful as well. Can Grok AI really diagnose medical injuries when a doctor cannot?
An Indian doctor finally gave Musk a much-needed reality check!

When Musk went on to boast that his AI Grok could deliver medical diagnoses, several X users used the platform to throw some shades and puns at that claim. One user wrote, “Grok helped fix my erectile dysfunction,” while another wrote, “This is how you know it’s actually Elon posting. He didn’t follow this with a legal disclaimer explaining that Grok should not be used as a substitute for a professional medical diagnosis.”
However, there were a few cheerleaders and Musk and Grok as well. One such user wrote, “I don’t understand why you don’t hear about Grok all over the internet.” He added, “I’ve used them all and can honestly say Grok is the best. It’s the only AI that doesn’t censor and it’s fast and accurate and beyond the others in my opinion! Keep up the good work Elon.”
On the other hand, when Liverdoc spilled the beans, some folks from the fraternity of doctors came forward with concerns like, “He shadow bans people and takes away their blue ticks for calling him out, Doc,” which clearly points the finger at Elon Musk’s past particular ‘pattern’. Another user wrote, “Looks like he bought X to sensationalise things, which is what X is known for,” which again points at the same direction.
What is Grok AI?
Grok is an AI assistant who helps complete tasks, like answering questions, solving problems, and brainstorming.
Grok AI can be used for
Summarizing website content and translating languages: Grok can help you quickly digest information and communicate across language barriers.
Crafting stories and more: Grok's creative capabilities allow you to generate different forms of text content like poems, code, scripts, musical pieces, and more.
The users of the free tier on X, as of now, only get 10 text prompts every two hours and up to three image generations at once. Grok AI has an interface similar to other LLMs. There is an input box, “Ask Anything,” where you can push prompts as well as upload images or documents that you need to summarise.
