Tabu described Ajay as a "silent bully" who discreetly engages in playful teasing or ragging. She mentioned that he has a subtle and sweet demeanor, making it difficult for others to realize his mischievous intentions. Despite his quiet nature, he is quite playful and mischievous in his interactions with others.
The film 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' tells the story of star-crossed lovers who reunite after 22 years. The narrative includes flashbacks featuring Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee M Manjrekar portraying the younger versions of the main characters.
The actress recalled that when she was approached with the script, she asked director Neeraj Pandey about the younger part of her character. He informed her that a different set of actors would play the younger versions. Tabu was pleased with this decision. According to her, de-aging actors can look gimmicky sometimes, especially if the audience knows how old they are.
The actress further noted that age-appropriate casting
was standard practice in the past, and only recently have older actors begun portraying younger characters on screen. She mentioned that in earlier times, different actors would play the younger versions of characters until they grew into roles played by stars like Dharmendra or Dilip Kumar, and she believes the film continues this tradition.
Tabu also expressed that, unlike her male contemporaries, she wouldn't want to play young women anymore, stating she would refuse such roles and feels she must embrace her age.
