Rashmika Mandanna wishes her 'Boyfriend' on his birthday—but it's not Vijay Deverakonda

Rashmika Mandanna, known for her hit film Pushpa 2 and dating rumors with Vijay Deverakonda, recently shared a sweet birthday message for her on-screen boyfriend, Dheekshith Shetty, co-star of The Girlfriend. This came after the teaser of the film was released.
On Sunday, Rashmika took to her Instagram story to share a poster of her co-star Dheekshith Shetty from their film The Girlfriend. She wished him a happy birthday with a heartfelt note, saying, “The boyfriend of The Girlfriend! Wishing you the happiest birthday, Dheekshith! God bless you with everything you desire. You’re truly a gem, and I always wish the best for you.”

Dheekshith Shetty is a Kannada actor, recognized by Telugu audiences for his role as Suri in Dasara, alongside Nani and Keerthy Suresh. He plays the male lead in The Girlfriend, where he stars opposite Rashmika Mandanna.

‘The Girlfriend’ director Rahul Ravindran also wished Dheekshith on his birthday. Sharing his character poster from the film, he praised his talent and wrote, “Wishing a super happy birthday to the incredibly talented @dheekshithshettyofficial And I don’t say this for formality sake. Rashmika released the teaser of The Girlfriend on December 9, which became even more special with a voice-over by her rumoured boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda. The film also stars Dheekshith Shetty, veteran actors Rao Ramesh and Rohini. Written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, The Girlfriend is presented by Allu Aravind, with Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi as producers.
