UPPSC Medical Officer Result 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the results for the Medical Officer Recruitment 2024. Candidates who participated in the recruitment exam can now check their scores on the official UPPSC website - uppsc.up.nic.in. The results are available online, sorted by various specialisations including Orthopaedician, ENT Specialist, Pathologist, Ophthalmologist, General Surgeon, Anesthetist, and Gynaecologist.
A total of 385 Medical Officer posts, Grade-2 (Level-2) Gynaecologist, were announced by the Commission under the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh (Allopathy).The allocation includes 53 posts for the unreserved category, 157 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC) of Uttar Pradesh, 126 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC) of Uttar Pradesh, 11 posts for Scheduled Tribes (ST) of Uttar Pradesh, 38 posts for the economically weaker sections (EWS) of Uttar Pradesh, and 7 posts under horizontal reservation for freedom fighters. Additionally, 15 posts were reserved for disabled candidates and 77 posts for female candidates. The interviews for the dependent category were conducted on 24th, 25th, and 26th June 2024.
Following the interviews, the Honourable Commission has declared 70 candidates successful in the order of merit for the respective posts. The detailed selection results can be viewed on the Commission’s website (https://uppsc.up.nic.in). However, no candidates were available for the 38 posts reserved for the EWS category. Consequently, 10 candidates from the unreserved category were selected to fill these positions.

Due to the unavailability of candidates, 153 vacancies in the OBC category, 124 in the SC category, 10 in the ST category, and 28 vacancies in the EWS category remain unfilled. Additionally, 68 female candidates were selected against the 77 vacancies reserved for women, while no candidates were available for the DFF and Divyang categories.
