Kolkata: From Bollywood songs to fairy tales, students of St Sebastian's School enthralled the audience at Science City auditorium recently as they performed on a plethora of themes during their annual concert.
Danseuse Aloknanda Roy graced the occasion as the chief guest. The programme began with a prayer followed by the welcome dance, an energetic presentation by the senior section. The show began with the release of the 24th edition of the school's e-Magazine, Radiance, followed by a cultural programme.
The students of nursery had put up a dance on ‘Aao tumhe chand pe le jaaye'. The elated audience was seen grooving to the tunes of ‘Dil hain chota sa' as the students of KG-I presented a dance performance.
The students of KG-II transported the audience to the animal kingdom as they performed on Hakuna Matata. The next presentation was by the students of classes I and II themed around the states of India.
The stage soon got transformed into a magical world as students of classes III, IV and V mesmerized the audience with their musical performance based on the fairy tale ‘Thumbelina'. The dance drama, ‘Priyotoma' presented by the students of the senior section depicted the story of every woman and her struggles.
