Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan opens grand camp at Maha Kumbh
Prayagraj: The much-anticipated camp at Maha Kumbh hosted by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), founded and headed by Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, was inaugurated on Wednesday at sector 9.
Guests who will arrive for the upcoming events include Governor Anandiben Patel, Gorakhpur MP and actor Ravi Kishan, MP Anurag Thakur, actor Sourabh Raj Jain, singer Padamshree Malini Awasthi, singer Nishtha Sharma, author Sanjeev Sanyal, poet Abhi Munde, author and political analyst Shantanu Gupta and several social media influencers.
The inauguration set the stage for 33 days of spiritual and cultural magnificence, blending Sanatan traditions with modern innovations. Thousands of devotees, spiritual seekers and dignitaries gathered to witness the grand commencement, which began with a live Vedic chanting session led by over 100 Brahm Gyani Vedpathis, said media in charge of the camp, Mrinal Sachdeva.
Swami Adityanand shared that their nine-acre camp at sector 9 at Prayagraj, Kumbh Mela, is expected to draw around 20 lakh visitors from India and abroad.
Over the course of 33 days (up to Feb 16), more than 150 events including kathas, youth fests, workshops for professionals, mantras chanting and yagyas will take place, supported by over 20,000 volunteers of the sansthan.
