Prayagraj: Renowned Bollywood art director and architect Pawan Pandey will design a state-of-the-art control room that will be used to monitor and manage high-level meetings and coordinate strategies for the upcoming Maha Kumbh.
The control room set to come up within the next seven days on the mela campus will house teams of top officers.
The Mumbai-based artist said the control room will be equipped with special facilities and enable swift monitoring of Maha Kumbh arrangements, ensuring a hassle-free experience for devotees from around the world.
It is designed in an L-shape and provides hi-tech facilities for both officers and staff. Three special entry gates are under construction and nearing completion.
ADM (Kumbh Mela) Vivek Chaturvedi told TOI: "The control room will serve as a hub for strategy planning and coordination between various departments. It will have a conference hall and media blocks to ensure timely and accurate information reaches millions of people. Over 50 officers will have separate cabins to oversee the operations, including security, administration, healthcare, and water supply."
