Honda Cars India has launched the new Amaze at an introductory price starting from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top ZX trim priced at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Amaze is available in three trims—V, VX, and ZX—offering features such as 6 airbags, bi-projector LED headlights, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch infotainment system, and a lane watch camera. The top ZX trim comes with an ADAS suite, making the Amaze the most affordable car in India with ADAS. Additionally, Honda has announced plans to launch three all-new models by March 2027.

Honda has launched the new Amaze with an introductory price starting at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. These special prices are valid for 45 days from today, after which they will be revised.

The Amaze lineup starts with the entry-level V trim at an introductory price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-spec VX trim is priced at Rs 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec ZX trim, featuring ADAS, comes in at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable car in India with ADAS.

The Amaze packs in features like bi-projector LED headlights, a lane watch camera, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch infotainment system, and six airbags as standard, among other such as segment-first ADAS suite.

Production and dispatches of the new Amaze are underway, and test drives are now open starting today. It comes with a standard 3-year warranty with unlimited kms, extendable up to 7 years. Additionally, an Anytime Warranty option is available for up to 10 years.

The new Amaze will be available in three trims:

V Trim: Packed with standard features like LED lighting, a 7-inch TFT cluster, six airbags, and more.
VX Trim: Adds 15-inch alloy wheels, Honda Connect with a 5-year subscription, and a segment-first Lane Watch Camera and more.
ZX Trim: The top-end variant includes the advanced ADAS suite for enhanced safety.

It will be offered in six colour options, with over 38 accessories available for customization.

The new Amaze is set to deliver a fuel efficiency of 18.65 kmpl for manual variants and an impressive 19.46 kmpl for the CVT option.

The new Amaze continues with its reliable 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, now upgraded to be E20 fuel compliant.

Honda says that the increased width of the car improves shoulder and hip room, offering enhanced comfort. The Amaze also boasts class-leading cabin space with ample knee, leg, and headroom, along with a 416-litre boot capacity.

The first-generation Amaze, introduced in 2013, quickly gained popularity, and its successor followed suit with remarkable success. Together, both generations have garnered an impressive 5.8 lakh customers to date.

The new Honda Amaze is set to feature a first-in-segment ADAS suite, making it the most affordable car in India to offer this advanced technology. With this addition, ADAS will now be available across Honda Cars India's entire lineup. Notably, the Amaze currently accounts for 40% of Honda’s total sales in the country, highlighting its importance in the brand’s portfolio.

Honda recently shared design teasers showcasing a bold front fascia with a hexagonal grille, sharp LED headlights, and DRLs inspired by the Elevate SUV. The model is set to compete with Hyundai Aura, Maruti Dzire and Tata Tigor in the hotly contested subcompact sedan segment. It will likely retain the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 87.7 hp and 110 Nm torque, paired with 5-speed manual and CVT options. Moreover, the car will feature a refreshed rear design and a tech-savvy, feature-packed cabin to cater to modern buyers.

As for the safety features that we can expect with the new Honda Amaze, it is likely to come equipped with six airbags as standard. Additional features include ESP, traction control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS with EBD, and more.

Besides the changes mentioned above, Honda has introduced a fresh set of alloy wheels, complemented by a sleek shark fin antenna on the roof. At the rear, the sedan boasts updated styling, including redesigned tail lamps that draw inspiration from the City. Additionally, subtle changes have been made to the rear bumper, enhancing the overall appeal.
