Petra Blaisse
Inside Outside
Since founding her acclaimed studio Inside Outside in 1991, Dutch designer Petra Blaisse has worked on international projects of increasing technical ambition and scale alongside partners Jana Crepon, landscape architect (left), and Aura Luz Melis, project architect (right). Aspiring for their projects to engage in continual dialogue with their contexts, the multidisciplinary studio’s spaces are designed to stimulate and adapt, each a product of deep research: sound and light, climate and the effects of time are the team’s tools.
Inside Outside’s renowned landscapes include the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Gardens, the Biblioteca degli Alberi in Milan, and Qatar Foundation Headquarters in Doha. Their ongoing projects span in scale from the regeneration of an urban park in Paris for Demi Lune, La Defense, to an ecological strategy for the Vallée de L'Oued Issy in Morocco.
