While most of New York was still rubbing the sleep from their eyes, the Brooklyn Paramount was wide awake and glowing with pastel drip and high vibrations. On Saturday, April 5, The 9AM Banger once again proved why it’s the crown jewel of early-morning party culture. From the moment the first beat dropped at 9:00 AM, the iconic venue was transformed into a sunrise sanctuary for R&B lovers, filled with rhythm, nostalgia, and undeniable vibes.

As early as 7:00 AM, lines were already forming around the building with eager fans ready to secure their spot for the sold-out event. For many, this wasn’t their first Banger—returning attendees came with full knowledge that when The 9AM Banger team throws a party, it’s going to be unforgettable.

Doors opened promptly at 9:00 AM, and by then, the energy was already brewing. Guests were welcomed with an open bar until 11:00 AM, featuring a vibrant Tequila Sunrise as the signature drink of the day—fitting for an event marking the start of spring. And speaking of spring, the suggested attire was all about pastel colors, and the crowd did not disappoint. Outfits ranged from laid-back and chic to full-on fashion statements, adding even more color to the electric atmosphere.

Of course, no 9AM Banger is complete without the sounds to match. The DJ lineup was stacked with heavy hitters who delivered from start to finish:
- Rille & Mindless (founders Jonathan Espinal & Adrian Almonte)
- Killsing
- Moochie
- DJ E-Stylez
- Sounds of Reality
- Yoo Q!
Together, they curated a flawless flow of classic and current R&B, creating moments that had the crowd belting out everything from Keyshia Cole’s “Love” to TLC’s “Waterfalls.”
But the most unforgettable moment of the day came when the crowd of 3,000 erupted in disbelief as Grammy Award-winning artist Ne-Yo stepped on stage for a surprise performance. Opening with the timeless hit “Because of You,” the entire venue lit up, with fans singing every word in perfect unison. It was pure magic.

Even Ne-Yo himself was taken aback by the overwhelming energy in the room. “That energy is crazy,” he said mid-set, visibly vibing off the crowd’s enthusiasm. He kept the momentum going with performances of “Miss Independent” and “Sexy Love,” each met with hands in the air and phones capturing every second.

The 9AM Banger ran until 3:00 PM, keeping the pulse alive with nothing but R&B hits, sunshine energy, and good people. The event not only lived up to its reputation—it raised the bar.

Previous powerhouse sponsors include Hennessy, Red Bull, Ray-Ban, Tito’s, Remy Martin, Liquid Death, Beatbox, Spotify, Archer Roose, the day had an undeniable polish and a whole lot of perks.
Once again, The 9AM Banger reminded us that good vibes don’t have to wait until the sun sets. Sometimes, the best parties happen when the day is just getting started.
