A recent exchange on the gram involving AB as he’s known and Cydney Moreau, the mother of his youngest child, has ignited a wave of discussion–or disgust, depending who you ask.
Brown, 36, yes, a grown-up, shared a screenshot of their text conversation on his social media platform, accompanied by the caption, “They just want me to see my sons, not raise em, using my son [as a] pawn for rent money.”
Get this, the text exchange revealed Moreau reaching out to Brown, stating, “Hi babe. I hope you are doing okay. Ace is doing good. I could really use some help with paying my rent this month. If you could help me, that would be very helpful.”
Brown’s response was, “Fk u bih, go sk dk.” We edited for ya’ll but the screenshot below shows it all. Moreau countered with, “Ace lives under my roof. You have an obligation to help Antonio.”
The social world sharing of this exchange triggered diverse reactions. Some individuals expressed concern over Brown’s language and tone. One observer commented, “I don’t care what happened between them but she’s the mother of his child. He doesn’t have to give her rent money but the disrespect in that text is next level. He’s a damn bum for that. This stuff lives forever on the internet and his son will see this one day. Sad.” Another added, “I can’t imagine having a child with a person who spoke to me that way. Like it doesn’t even compute.”
Conversely, others defended Brown’s stance, suggesting that if he fulfills his child support obligations, he is not required to provide additional financial assistance. One individual stated, “If she gets child support he is not obligated to do anything extra, if her job income and child support are not enough to support her and the child, why shouldn’t she reconsider her means.” Another posited, “If you can’t afford the rent, either move to a cheaper place or give up the child to the other parent so you can get your life together.”

Moreover, Moreau is the mother of Brown’s son, Ace, born in July 2024. Brown has multiple children with several different mothers. He shares three sons and one daughter with Chelsie Kyriss, a son with Shameika Brailsford, and a daughter with Wiltrice Jackson, making Ace his seventh child.
