Christopher Moran, Ph.D., is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Montana's Fire Center. His research focus is on spatial analysis of LiDAR data for vegetation and fuel characterization and classification. He also assists in development of UAV research methods. In addition, he is Director of Fire Science at Pyrologix, a wildfire threat assessment research firm.
