I completed my MPsych in 1996 and BA (hons) Psych in 1994, both from Edith Cowan University. In 2007 I completed my PhD from UNSW on family treatment for child/youth antisocial behaviour.
Commencing my career researching interventions with incarcerated violent offenders, I have subsequently investigated family based interventions for antisocial youth, predictors of juvenile violent recidivism, community correlates of violence and psychopathy, evaluation of a return to work assist program, animal cruelty and fire setting among juvenile offenders, and juvenile fitness for trial. I have worked in adult and juvenile correctional settings, and child and youth forensic mental health.
Currently I am investigating mindwandering, high risk psychotic phenomena, juvenile crime, adult offenders, and individual case study of skateboard injuries.
