世田谷駅から徒歩2分程度の場所にあるやきとんひなたの世田谷店。本日は、仕事の関係で世田谷線の上町駅までやって来た。学生時代は世田谷区民だったので、久し振りに上町駅のホームに降り立ち、非常に懐かしい気分。中学生の頃、時々訪問していた上町水族館がまだ営業していたのには驚いた。それはさておき、予定していた面談が無事終わったのが16時過ぎ。本日は直帰する予定にしておいたので、周辺のお店で少し早めの夕食を取ってから帰宅することにしよう。そこで目指したのが、事前に食べログでピックアップしておいた当店で、16時から営業しているのが有難い。お店の前に着いたのは16時半前であったが、既に常連らしきオジサン数名や若者のグループ客で賑わっている。店員さんに一人である旨を伝えると、奥の厨房前にあるカウンター席に案内された。
お酒を飲みたい気分ではなかったので、まずはジンジャエール(辛:300円)で喉を潤おしてから、レバテキ・ネギだれ掛け(火曜~土曜限定:582円)、ポテトサラダ(300円)を注文すると、直ぐにポテトサラダが登場。これといった特徴はないが、手作り感があって美味しかったのでお勧め。期待のレバテキは注文から7~8分で登場したのだが、低温調理したレバの上にはネギだれがたっぷりと掛かっており、おろしニンニク、おろしショウガが添えられている。まずはレバを一切れ食べてみると、イメージどおりのネットリとした舌触りで、おろしニンニクと一緒に食べると旨さ倍増。これを全部独り占めできるのは嬉しい限り。
まだちょっと食べ足りなかったので、やきとん串のれば(みそ:164円)、たん(塩:164円)、もつ煮込み(455円)を追加注文。直ぐに出て来たきたもつ煮込みを食べてみると、もつが他店よりも大きめにカットされているので食べ応え十分。トロットロに軟らかく煮込まれているので、味的にも文句なしの旨さ。やきとん串のたんはもちろん美味しかったが、みそで味わうればは何でこんなに美味しいんだろう。お勘定は、席料(110円)を入れて2000円強ということで、コストパフォーマンスもまずまずといったところ。一人では味わえるメニュー数が限られることから、3~4人で訪問して色々なメニューを味わってみたいお店である。
