今月初めには、東京の友人が東京で自分の誕生日を祝ってくれましたが
今回は、大阪の友人達から
「ホテル阪急インターナショナル」25階にある「竹茂楼」さんで
お祝い膳を振る舞っていただきました〜♪
ここは、享保元年創業290余年の歴史を持つ京都の老舗料亭「美濃吉 竹茂楼」のお店
京料理の歴史とともに代々受け継がれた伝統の味を
落ち着いたしつらえの店内で堪能することができます。
晦日の夕方5時半に、お店のある25階フロアで4人が待ち合わせ
エレベータを下りると、そこはまるで中近東ドバイの高級ホテルのような雰囲気
横の入り口から料理店内の広い半個室に案内されました。
窓からは梅田のグランフロント、淀川、十三の町並みの灯りが美しく照らし出されています。
まだ時間が早いのでほぼ貸切状態
席に座ると、友人から誕生日のプレゼント
ちょうど欲しかった革の財布をいただいて、祝い膳がスタートです。

まずは一献酒で乾杯!
次に、からすみが入った前菜を肴に
京都のお店のおかみの実家である淡路島の冷酒をいただきました。
口当たりがよくて飲みやすく、ワインに近い喉越しです。
料理は京料理らしく材料の持ち味を生かした薄い味付け
上品でかつ奥深い伝統の味です。
特に焼物三題は見た目も豪華で、『煮鮑うに焼き』は鮑の肝ソースの磯の香りと
焼いた雲丹の旨味が絶品ですw♥︎
友人達との話も弾み、料理の旨さにお酒がどんどん進みますw
ついには大好きな芋焼酎『魔王』のロックまで飲んで
幸せなひと時が過ぎていきました (^o^)/
ご飯はからすみ茶漬けを選び、出汁を入れてから蓋をして少し蒸し上げると
カラスミがしっとりとして風味も出て、美味しいお茶漬けでした!
宴も終わりに近づき、突然部屋が真っ暗に(汗)
何と、友人が手配してくれたここのホテルのバースディケーキの登場でしたぁ〜♪
自分の大好きなイチゴがたっぷり使われ
甘さ控えめのクリームとイチゴの酸味がとても旨くマッチ
最後に『温かいわらび餅』と『お抹茶』をいただいて
楽しい宴が終了です。
帰りには友人から『鰻姿寿司』をいただきましたが
これはこのお店の名物だそうです。
江戸焼きのうなぎを時間をかけて煮込み
寿司ごはんに山椒の効いた濃厚なうなぎの味がぴったりと合った
贅沢なお持ち帰りの品ですw
素敵な場所で豪華なおもてなし
さらには高価なプレセントや手土産までいただいて
感謝の気持ちで一杯です!
