One day on a holiday, my husband said he wanted to go shopping at Shakujii Park, so before going shopping we decided to go to a Hamburger restaurant that we had been interested in. It feels more like a bar where you can drink alcohol and enjoy Western Cuisine, rather than a Hamburger restaurant. There were only a few seats available, so we sat on the outdoor terrace. The chairs are a bit hard so it might be difficult to relax. The best thing for lunch was of course Hamburger, and the rest of the menu consisted of snacks and hearty meat dishes. We ordered two Hamburger. [b:★Bacaro Special Patty Burger made with Shorthorn Beef 1,400 yen (tax included)] The patty was made with beef, so it was quite dense. And what was unusual was the bun. The bun was a little hard, and the burger was so hearty that I couldn't even reach the patty in my first bite. [b:★Baccala Fish Burger with Salted Cod and Tartar Sauce 1,200 yen] The fish was quite large, almost bigger than the bun. The tartar sauce had a lot of egg. The marinated purple cabbage had just the right amount of acidity and was delicious. The accompanying fries were also low in salt and went perfectly with ketchup or mustard. [b:★Beer 500 yen] After Hamburger arrived, my husband said, "I want a drink," and we were shown the menu. Soft drinks are priced at a whopping 750 yen. Beer is cheaper, so I decided on beer. The strong flavor of the beer was the perfect match for the rich burger. Hamburger was tasty, but the meat was a bit too strong for my taste. The balance with the bun could have been a little better. And there is no toilet inside the store, so be careful not to drink too much alcohol. (Apparently, you can use the restroom at their sister pizza place.)
