Enjoy a Grown-Up Moment at a Modern Soba Shop
Experience delicious moments in a modern setting that revitalizes the traditional image of a soba shop, while carrying on 71 years of tradition. We offer authentic handmade 2:8 soba made from buckwhea |
I visited around 1:30pm on a weekday. While I was wondering what to order, a middle-aged female waitress recommended the Mori Soba Set (1,000 yen, tax included) which came with a mini bowl of seared bonito, saying, "This is the last one. If you want to order it, please hurry." I noticed that the price was much more reasonable than the other sets. It was the highlight of the menu. I gratefully ordered it. It turned out to be a great choice. The bonito tataki was fragrant and fatty, and even though it was just a small bowl, it was very satisfying. The soba noodles are quite thick, which I like. They are filling. The mori soba noodles were very satisfying, but there are many other ingenious soba dishes on the menu. It's close to the station, so I'll continue to come here.
