Traditional Nepalese home cooking restaurant. The location is along Inokashira Street, halfway between Nishi-Eifuku Station and Eifukucho Station on the Keio Inokashira Line. It's about a 7-minute walk from both stations. My first visit was for lunch in June 2014. I ordered green curry and spinach curry (both with naan). As you can probably tell from the photo, the naan is huge! It's freshly baked, and when you take a bite, it's sweet and delicious! The green curry is a little spicy and goes perfectly with naan. Side dishes and appetizers are also included in the price, so you'll be quite full. Finish off with a drink or dessert - it's delicious and cheap! It's unbelievable in Tokyo! (lol) I only ordered take out at night, but it only cost me 500 yen each time. There are also coupons available in stores, so it's definitely worth taking advantage of. Sometimes the Nepalese staff members speak to each other in a language I don't understand. I can also speak broken Japanese (it's a little hard to understand, but it's not a problem). If you have any questions about the dishes or ingredients, they will answer you patiently. She is very serious, and her occasional smile is charming. They also add water frequently. Eifukucho Daishoken also adds water frequently. The place name "Eifukucho" is wonderful because it contains the word "lucky" in it, but the shops here are wonderful too (laughs). When I pass by the street at night, I sometimes worry whether there are customers there or not. During lunch time, the restaurant is frequented by madams, housewives with children, and students. It seems they also have a sister store in Tsutsujigaoka, Chofu City. There is a strangely rich taste reminiscent of Southeast Asian food stalls, It's not something a guy in his late 30s would say, but "this is seriously delicious curry." It's great value for money and I feel like it deserves a higher rating (3.7 is fine). If you have a chance to go to Eifuku, please give it a try. Writing this is making me want to eat it again (sweat). Thank you for the meal.
