It was my first time getting off at Anamori Inari station, but there was a brand new Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant right across from the ticket gate that was said to be delicious, so I got together with some foodies. At first glance, the façade looks like a chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but it appears to be an independent store that moved from Oimachi. Above the gas stove surrounded by four people is a porous stone slab cut from lava instead of an iron plate or net. Until we have enough people, we toast with an assortment of kimchi and namul, and a beer or sour from the all-you-can-drink menu. Once the members were all together, we started with an assortment of five types of sashimi (heart, skirt steak, senmai, and kobukuro), and ordered whatever grilled items we could find. The sashimi is fresh, has a springy texture, has no odor, and is delicious. Since the grilled food Yogan-yaki (roasted on a hot stone), there is no smoke or burning, so you can grill it to your preference. What's more, it absorbs excess fat, so you can eat as much as you want, so even though I ate more than I could remember, my stomach never felt heavy. All-you-can-drink drinks were served quickly, so it literally turned out to be a fun New Year's party at Sakachi Nikurin.
