[series restaurant] |
Lunch on this day was in front of the local Kamata station. Opened in mid-February on Kogakuin Street at the west exit, it is a continental Chinese restaurant with mapo tofu and original chapong on its signature menu. Mr. Zheng, who is from Fujian Province in China, founded the chain in Kawasaki in 2008, and there are about 10 restaurant of chains in the Tokyo metropolitan area, including franchises, but the pace of store openings has accelerated recently, such as Kawasaki Azalea, Omori Station, and Kamata. I'm concerned about ensuring the quality of the chefs, but since I opened a restaurant in Kamata, I decided to take a look. I entered the store around 11:30, but there were only a few customers in the store with about 20 seats. I sat down at the table by the window recommended by the waiter. The restaurant in front of Omori Station that I saw before looked like a fast food restaurant, but this one is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)-style. The clerk seems to be from the continent in both the kitchen and the hall. Ordering is done on the tablet terminal at each table. I ordered a stone-grilled mapo rice set from the lunch menu. I chose the big spicy, so it is 960 yen, which is +30 yen. After about 5 minutes of waiting, a set of mapo tofu, salad, rice, pressed vegetables, and soup boiled in a stone pot was delivered. When I tried it right away, it was hot, spicy, and quite delicious. It's also nice to have plenty of coarsely ground minced meat. However, by default, the chili pepper is sufficient, but the pepper hemp is a little unsatisfactory. When I grinded the pepper in a tabletop mill and poured it on, it tasted and smelled much better. This mapo tofu uses 16 kinds of Medicinal Food spices and 31 kinds of special ingredients, but perhaps because of that, I sweat a lot from my face when I eat it. It's an amount that can't be explained by the heat and spiciness alone. The amount of mapo tofu was quite large, and I wiped off my sweat and finally finished it. Thanks to this, I warmed up from the core of my body. It certainly seems to be good for the body, but women should be careful because it makes you sweat a lot.
