On a weekday off, I walk to lunch with my wife. I found out later that if you make a reservation, a soft drink is included, so it's a great place to come for service. The interior of the store is compact, with two tables and a counter. Since the owner runs the shop by himself, this size is sufficient. However, even though it's just one person working there, the timing of the food is excellent. This time I ordered the weekly lunch special. There are also several types of pasta to choose from. I'll have shrimp, Chinese cabbage and tuna peperoncino. My wife had thick-sliced bacon and eggplant in tomato sauce. You can choose between garlic toast and seasoned pilaf. This time it's pilaf. The soup arrived first. It was delicious. I love it. Soon the salad and seasoned pilaf arrived. It was my first time trying pilaf, and it was more like rice porridge than pilaf. It has something like hash brown on top, so it's doubly enjoyable. The pasta was peperoncino with a strong garlic flavor. The noodles were thin but firm. It goes well with the sauce, especially the Chinese cabbage! My wife's tomato sauce pasta was a little bland, but still tasty. Maybe it was too watery. Overall, it's a well-rounded course and it's delicious. I'll come again soon. Thank you.
