It's been a while since I've been to Eastern Mikuni! I like the udon shop next door, but it was closed on the day I visited, so I went to this place that I had been interested in for a while. It only has counter seating, but it was very busy. The owner's movements as he deals with the constant stream of customers are efficient and smooth, and it's refreshing to watch! The sound of him slicing the freshly fried cutlet is also very satisfying! I ordered the refreshing grated daikon katsudon, which was filling, juicy and delicious, and came with a side of miso soup (^^) The price was also reasonable! Some people were drinking beer in the middle of the day, but beer and katsudon...that's great!!!
