Just a few minutes walk north from the B8 exit of Kintetsu Namba Station...cross the Dotonbori River and turn left to find the Yakitori Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Nishi Ohashi that has a decent reputation. It seems like they are finally opening a new restaurant. I made a quick reservation on Tabelog on a weekday evening and visited the restaurant. Does it seem easy to use, since you can collect and use points? Surprisingly, there are no reviews posted yet... The number of customers is moderate. - [Order] On this day, I went bar-hopping and the number of dishes was small and simple, but I made sure to stick to the specialties (and appetizers). ★Appetizer (displayed price 380 yen (tax included)) "Quail eggs marinated in soy sauce" I thought it was just another appetizer, but I took a bite. It was indeed marinated in soy sauce, but I could also taste the flavor of dashi. So maybe it was dashi soy sauce? It was soaked in soy sauce and it seemed to seep into my mouth... it was surprisingly good ♡ (Unexpectedly... I thought so) ★ Chicken Ramen with a difference (Price listed is 580 yen (excluding tax)) The appearance is... steamed chicken cut like salad chicken, roughly chopped boiled cabbage, and reddish eggs! It is also topped with sesame seeds and seaweed. It certainly looks like something a little different. I took a sip right away... Chicken Ramen is Chicken Ramen after all... (The contrast was not good because the appetizer was a little different.) ※If the appetizer looks good…This is an example of failure because it raises your expectations. No matter how you fix it, the taste is still Chicken Ramen and there's no way to fix it! I was hoping for a darker colored egg, but it wasn't that rich. I tried adding shichimi pepper and other things along the way, but it was a bit disappointing. ★Thigh meat tartar skewers (280 yen (excl. tax)) The shop's recommended specialty: thigh meat tartar skewers☆ A skewer of carefully selected chicken thigh meat, carefully grilled! Tartar sauce with pickled eggplants is pink in color. I think this is a good idea to make it look good... However, in terms of the taste, there was a bit too much tartar sauce, and the taste of the chicken thighs was a bit off. Would it be better to serve the tartar sauce separately so that customers can add it themselves? And the all-important tartar sauce...it doesn't taste like pickled eggplant at all! In fact, it was like, "Where is it?" The egg flavor was strong! Instead, there was a pink, squishy, unidentifiable object inside, and when I asked the staff what it was, they replied, "I don't know." (Maybe it's a trade secret... I don't know most of the other questions either... so I'm actually a bit worried...) To be honest, I don't know what the taste of the chicken thigh tartar sauce skewers is either. I wanted to say that lol. It wasn't bad at all. ★ Grilled skewer Yakitori and Chicken Skin (Price listed is 160 yen (excl. tax)) In this shop, the chicken skin is cooked to leave it chewy, allowing you to taste the unique fat and flavor of chicken skin in one skewer! For those who like the fluffy texture, it was delicious♪ I think this simple skewer was the most delicious thing of all. ★Ginger ale (300 yen including tax) Drink - [evaluation] Regardless of the taste... I could really sense the creative ingenuity and attention to appearance. Considering the location, the price range was not too high and I thought it was good value for money (although the bill wasn't clear)? It's difficult to evaluate the atmosphere of the restaurant in terms of the number of customers. As for the wait staff, even though we only had a small order, they were polite and kind, and very helpful! The average score for each item is 3.25...rounded up to 3.3☆ I feel like three stars is a bit generous, but... Well, this is my first review, so I added a little extra thought. - Although it has only just opened... The good points and bad points... each one stands out and stands out. There are pros and cons, and it seems like there is very little room for growth. (Since opening, there have been few reviews and few customers.) I had high hopes for the taste, but so far it's just mediocre. It's fine to focus on looks and make something that's a local specialty, but it all comes down to it having to taste good! (If it doesn't feel right, it probably won't catch on...) The shop itself has a simple and neat interior. Those who had a good time with the BGM that suited the store It wasn't a place I would personally recommend, but as a poster, I wonder if it was worth visiting at least once? It was a place that made me think maybe it was. [First review posted at time of visit (Tabelog rating)]
