The restaurant's name means "red frying pan" in Italian. Owner-chef Takao Sakuma traveled around Europe for his architectural design job. He was particularly fascinated by Italian food culture, so he
...studied Italian and then spent a year and a half training at Osteria Numero Uno in Florence. He opened the restaurant in 2000. The restaurant's motto is to serve authentic Italian Cuisine cuisine with minimal preparation, so as to bring out the natural flavor of the ingredients. All pizza, some of the pasta, sauces, desserts, and Gelato are homemade. The chef's friendly personality and the restaurant's hospitality have earned the restaurant a reputation for being a popular choice.
