A small hideaway with a foreign feel
We want everyone to know about our mother country, Vietnam, and we want people to feel like they are in Vietnam even while in Japan. With that in mind, we have opened a store where you can enjoy and c |
"Maruyama Bon Odori" held for the first time in several years due to the impact of COVID-19 The Bon Odori dance takes place in the evening on the pedestrian precinct between West 23rd and 24th Streets, from North 1st Street to Odori. The 2023 event will be held for two days from the 12th (Sat) to the 13th (Sun). Neighboring shops and other businesses are supporting the event and setting up stalls, creating a surprisingly lively atmosphere considering its size. We visited "Vank 2," a Vietnamese Cuisine that was open in front of restaurant. The foreign-looking woman soliciting customers with the greeting "Welcome!" is wearing a traditional Vietnamese hat called "Non La." When you look into the glass case for takeaway the staff will kindly explain the products to you. I bought "fried spring rolls" Pick up your pack and take it home Reheat it a little in the oven and then serve. I'm not sure what the ingredients are, but it contains a lot of transparent ingredients like glass noodles, and I can also see something that looks like wood ear mushrooms. Since it is deep-fried, it is not crispy, but the oiliness is just right and the overall balance of saltiness and flavor is not bad. I'd like to try Vietnamese Cuisine at least once. Thank you for the meal
