[2014.06 Family dinner...Dad decided to treat everyone for once♪] My wife and I said, "I want to go," but we ended up going to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and didn't get to go. He also had some unexpected income, so he contributed some of it from his own share (he's the husband with the pocket money) and was very arrogant. The great value dinner set (2,300 yen) includes a choice of appetizer and main dish, and comes with soup. Bread, butter, dessert, coffee, etc. are all charged separately. If you eat and drink, you don't need dessert. I think this is a great setting for people who don't need to force themselves to drink coffee after a meal. By the way, last night's selection was bread (200 yen), butter (50 yen), dessert (350 yen), and drink (400 yen). Dinner set x 4, bread x 3, dessert x 3, no wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, no after-meal drinks. The food choices are as follows: Appetizer 1: Pork rillettes (your choice) Appetizer 2: Pate de campagne (wife's choice) Appetizer 3: Today's quiche, Quiche Lorraine (son's choice) Appetizer 4: Gizzard confit (daughter's choice) All the appetizers were served with salad, and other dishes included Spanish Prosciutto and smoked salmon. Main dish 1: Seafood mousse wrapped in pie Main dish 2: French duck thigh confit I shared these two main dishes with my wife, along with grilled salmon, braised pork belly, and sautéed grunt. Beef Steak with mushroom sauce, beef stewed in red wine, sauteed young chicken thighs, all without extras♪ The draft beer was free because we had gotten a coupon from the internet. We also finished two bottles of wine between the three of us. It cost just under 18,000 yen for four people... We were very satisfied (^_^)/
