takeaway available! A specialty store for dried fish with over 20 varieties in stock at all times! We recommend the weekday-only breakfast set menu★
Himonotei Main Branch is a stand-alone building marked by a "Himonotei" sign hanging near the roof. We always have more than 20 kinds of fresh dried fish on hand, from homemade dried fish to seasonal |
I like dried fish and always have it in my house, but I don't know of any restaurants that serve it as a main dish. I heard there was one, so I went in. The cashier is on the first floor, and it seems you can buy takeaway. You order at the register first, get a numbered ticket, and then your order is ready at Cafeterias on the second floor. The waiting system makes your heart race as you eagerly await the arrival of the freshly grilled dried fish. Water, tea, and rice and miso soup for all-you-can-eat orders are available at the following locations: Please be aware that it may be a good idea to check while you are waiting to avoid any confusion later. The fatty mackerel is huge. There isn't enough rice, so you can get rice and miso soup for an additional 100 yen. I bought the all-you-can-eat plan. Considering the nutritional balance, I also ordered Small dish bowl for an additional 100 yen. It seems that you can take as many pickles as you want from the beginning. Dried mackerel is really delicious. It's not just fatty, The meat is firm and satisfying. The grated daikon radish that comes with it is quickly disappearing. I was a little sad to see it go, but I poured some more dashi soy sauce from the table over my rice and moved on to my second bowl. I never get bored of it. I never get bored of it. I truly feel glad to have been born in Japan. Thank you for the meal! It was very delicious!
