U.S. track and field athletes have achieved the entry standards for Paris 2024 either by passing the direct qualifying mark (or time for track and road races) or by virtue of their world ranking in the events listed in the table (a maximum of three athletes each per country).[1] USA Track & Field kicked off their qualification period with the Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando, Florida in February. Three women and two men punched their tickets to Paris with the third men's spot still up for grabs.[2] On February 21, 2024, USATF announced staff rosters for the Olympics: Stanley Redwine would serve as the men's head coach and LaTanya Sheffield would be the women's head coach.[3]

To assure their selection to the team, athletes competed in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials on June 21–30, 2024, in Eugene, Oregon.[4] On July 9, 2024, USA Track & Field officially announced the final roster of 120 athletes (59 men and 61 women) qualified for the 2024 U.S. Olympic track and field team.[5]

16-year-old Quincy Wilson was selected for the 4x400-meter relay team, becoming the youngest male U.S. track athlete in history.[6]

En kakform med löstagbar kant

Kakform är ett kärl som används för gräddning av kakor eller finare bakverk. Den kan vara av metall, silikon, porslin eller papper.


Eftersom smeten är rinnig och jäsning under bakning.

  • Springform (rund som tårtbotten, med löstagbar kant)
  • Sockerkaksform (eller kransform, med rör i mitten, ibland med non-stickbeläggning)
  • Bakform (eller långform o brödform, fasta sidor, passar till bröd o sockerkaka)
  • Pajform (låg kant, ofta av glas)
  • Muffinsform (till portionssockerkaka, används ofta tillsammans med pappersformar)
  • Ugnsform (som bakform fast större)

En form (brittisk engelska mould, amerikansk engelska mold) är en behållare som används i olika tekniker för matlagning för att forma den färdiga rätten. Termen kan också avse en färdig maträtt som tillverkas i nämnda behållare (t.ex. en geléform).

Form är ett kärl som används vid tillagning och tillredning av maträtter, bakverk och desserter. Den brukas vid gräddning i ugnen eller vid nedkylning i kylen. Som exempel på maträtter som tillagas i en form kan man nämna lasagne eller gratäng. Bakverk som sockerkaka och muffins gräddas i formar. Som desserter som kyls ned i en form så de får rätt konsistens kan tiramisu och Charlotte nämnas.
