Work out with Apple Watch

  1. Tap Let's Go to start a workout. If you already have a workout in progress, tap or press pause to customise your metrics.

  2. Tap or use your Apple TV remote to select the Metrics Editor buttonnull .

Metrics

If you turn Show Metrics on, Apple Fitness+ will display your workout time, heart rate, calories burned, Activity Rings and other live metrics on your screen. If you turn Show Metrics off, your metrics will still be recorded and you can view them in your workout summary after you’ve finished.

Burn Bar

The Burn Bar lets you compare your effort to others who have completed the same workout. Based on your calories burned, the Burn Bar will show whether you're Behind the Pack, In the Pack, Middle of the Pack, Front of the Pack or Ahead of the Pack. The Burn Bar is available for High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Treadmill, Cycling and Rowing workouts.

The Burn Bar takes your heart rate into consideration when determining your results. If your heart rate doesn't display, results on the Burn Bar might be impacted. Find out how to get the most accurate measurements using your Apple Watch.
