Holotype: zoological laboratory, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, unnumbered specimen; transfered to BSMP according Taylor (1944: 160). [destroyed during WWII]
Neotype: CAS 60930. [designated by Buskirk (1989: 226)]
Type locality: “Cabalian, southern Leyte, P. I. [=Philippines].”
