Note: Harris (2013) placed Schistostephium artemisiifolium Baker, Kew Bull. 270 (1897) into synonymy with Schistostephium crataegifolium (DC.) Fenzl ex Harv., Fl. Cap. 3: 169. (1865), but he did not treat Schistostephium artemisiifolium subsp. marungensis Lisowski Asterac. Fl. Afr. Cent. (Fragm. Flor. Geobot., 36(1) Supp. 1), 1: 245. (1991).
