This should not be neccessary, because glut is to be found in the standard/Gl - library and therefore included via #include <GL\glut.h> So it really should work as the "libglut.a" is located in the standard "/LIB" path. Right now I think my problem lies in the differences between Mac and Windows concerning timing under glut (things like V-Sync) for a constant frame-rate. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Codadeen" <jd...@ho...> To: <dev...@li...> Sent: Friday, September 14, 2001 8:59 AM Subject: Re: [Dev-C++] dev-cpp & openGL - GLUT.lib > ...adding your include directory to the 'Extra include directories' box. > > > >From: "St0fF 64" <st...@gm...> > >Reply-To: dev...@li... > >To: <dev...@li...> > >Subject: Re: [Dev-C++] dev-cpp & openGL - GLUT.lib > >Date: Fri, 14 Sep 2001 01:35:38 +0200 > > > >Yes I did. Hello. I would write a text string in a dialog. My o.s. is win95, no unicode; what is the method? Sprintf? Textout? DrawText? I would appreciate a small example (winapi). Giuseppe Falchi |

Try opening a file with the name "PRN" or "LPT1". These are the file names to access the printer, then use fprintf() or any other text file functions to write to it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ian Weston" <lak...@ho...> To: <dev...@li...> Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2001 9:20 PM Subject: [Dev-C++] Printing > hello everyone. im writing a program in c++ and i need to be able to print > out text to a printer. i was just wondering if anyone knows how to do this. > > thankyou. ian. > > _________________________________________________________________ > Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp > > > _______________________________________________ > Dev-cpp-users mailing list > Dev...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dev-cpp-users |

Hi, I do not know much about windows programming, but this seems like a dos problem to me. I think that you have not allocated enough resource to the environment. Try adding to you config.sys file : SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM /E:4096 /P url: http://www.easydos.com/command.html I may be wrong, if so sorry. friends,=20 After creating a Window by File/New Project/Window Application, I have = edited the resources file Rsrc.rcfor creating a Menu File with Open, = Save and Exit menu items. When pressed the after adding this file to the Project I give command to compile he Resouces " Build Resources" given at the bottom of the Resources file editor. or by Execute/Compile. I am getting "Compiler and linker output error" as following Out of environmernt space out of environment space Id: cannot open-Istdc++: No such file or dirctory I am having libstdc++.a file in my C:\Dev-C++\Lib folder 562 KB, Type A File. I am having 1 GB Harddisk space free and 50MB Ram free and 80% of my = computer resources are fee. Is Libstdc++ is same as -lstdc++ ? I am very much interested in expertising C++ with Dev-C++. Kindly clear my doubts.=20 Ameer Khan sm...@vs... |

The opposite happens. Dev-C++'s MINGW compiler is more ANSI compliant than VC++ (which is 4 years old). Send us the code so as to understand what is wrong.
