No copy constructor for CButton you see, and my previous attempts to pass by 
reference failed miserably.

I'm lost, can you put up the original code, then the changed code separated 
with a sentence saying what you've changed. I'm really confused lol

First: be more precise in future - for example which functions would
you like to use to copy files - provided by C++ or system?

Second: if you know how to read and write what is the problem?? Use
localy some buffer for temporary data, then read from first, and write
to second... important is to to do it in binary mode - if you are
using fopen functions do it like this:
FILE input = fopen( "file", "br" );
or if you want to use system functions use CopyFile(Ex):
CopyFile( "source", "destination", FALSE ); //FALSE means overwrite if

It wont help you. New GCC requires that you explicitely define
that you want to use standard namespace:

Hello,
I had devCpp 4.9.7.0 which worked fine. then I upgraded to 4.9.7.1 now
when I try to compile all i get is 

Compiler: Default compiler
Building Makefile: "C:\Dev-Cpp\Examples\MDIApp\Makefile.win"
Executing  make...
make.exe -f "C:\Dev-Cpp\Examples\MDIApp\Makefile.win" all
Execution terminated

I have a seperate installation of Mingw as such I made the needed
chages to the compiler settings. This has always worked for me until
now. Below is the an except of my devcpp config file:

Hello Esteban and other users-list members,
Yes, I did the same and added some extra cin and cout statements to follow
the code.
What I would like to do is converse with my program for a while until I
reach the point just before it starts to do things I do not want to happen,
and then set a breakpoint and trace the code step by step.

Does anybody know how to handle an Accelerator Table in a Modal Dialog?
There is no main message loop to place the TranslateAccelerator() call and I
can't find any other way of doing this. Thanks.

also sounds like you've not setup the INCLUDE sirectory - look under one of 
the options and make sure it has the directory with the include header 
files.

Anti virus software tends to scan new files, so if you're compiling a file 
and thus creating a new one, it will be scanned as it is created. Compilers 
are sensitive, and this causes the slowdown.

That's my idea anyway.
