Fixed bug #3558649 (http://bit.ly/PAXLQv): Preferences dialogue updates display when nothing changed.
Corrected handling of cancelled dialogue box. Changed Syntax Highlighter preferences to trap auto-generated check box click events that were setting "dirty" flag when no changes were made.
