Are you currently supervising clinical staff? Are you planning to become a supervisor in the near future? This practical, online, course is designed for professionals with substantial front-line clinical experience who currently supervise staff (or will in the future.) The course explores the theoretical and structural underpinnings of supervision and examines issues in the clinical social work supervision environment.

This course is taught by Jane Matheson PhD, RSW (Clinical Registry). Jane's PhD research was a qualitative study in Social Work Supervision. Throughout her career, she maintained this focus through a variety of roles including 35 years with Wood's Homes, most of that time as CEO. Prior to this, she was a family therapist with Alberta Mental Health and a Supervisor at Youthdale Treatment Centre in Toronto.

Data for People: Equity Driven Approached for Non-Profits and Social Services

This course helps professionals in social work, non-profits, and grassroots organizations develop the skills to work with data in a way that is ethical, equity-focused, and grounded in real-world practice. Participants will learn to spot bias in data, use it to support their work, and build confidence in data-informed decision making.

Developed in partnership with Momentum, the Empowered Coaching for Change program goes beyond traditional coaching by integrating resilience-building, systems change strategies, and trauma-informed approaches. This program equips participants with practical coaching tools to lead through uncertainty, drive systemic change, and foster adaptability in individuals and organizations.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
All of our courses carry Continuing Education Unit credits for professionals.

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
If a registrant withdraws from this course 7 or more business days prior to the start date of the workshop, the registrant will receive a full refund. No refunds on withdrawals 6 business days or less.


PROGRAM CANCELLATION:
We reserve the right to limit registration in any program, to make changes to any print or electronic material and to cancel any program offering. If it is necessary to cancel a program because of insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued.


1. Some of the courses seem to have a different registration?
Yes, we are transitioning to a new registration tool with the courses starting in 2020.  However, the courses that are happening in 2019 still has the old registration system.  The new system is called Destiny One.  Please click here for FAQs on the new system,  

2. What happens if the organizers cancel a workshop?
We reserve the right to limit registration in any program, to make changes to any print or electronic material and to cancel any program offering. If it is necessary to cancel a program because of insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued or if wanted, a credit will be given toward registration in another program (if space is available).

3. Do I get Continuing Education Unit credits if leaving early or coming late during a workshop?
The workshops carry CEU credits for professionals.  In order to receive the credits, full attendance is required at the face to face workshops and in case of online courses, the requirements are listed on the website.  The Certificate of Participation will be provided at the end of workshops. Those leaving early or coming late will forfeit the Certificates. Normally, no partial credits are available.  In exceptional circumstances, partial credits may be provided if advance approval is sought in writing [email protected].

4. What happens to to my personal information collected during registration process?
