Being a victim of isekai is hard. It's even harder when you're now Bronte, a blacksmith NPC in your online mutual's favorite JRPG - which you've never played. With only out-of-context posts to go off of and a new job to learn, it's up to you to survive the game's canon...

The voice acting and the music! Oh my god this is the best voice acting I've seen for a long time on visual novels! I usually mute the voices of the character when I can, but this is clearly the end of that era lol :D
The narrative is so fun to watch, the memes and the serious plot points spread around a darker story contrasts really well! I love a moral dilemma in my isekai stories; you who are not of this world get to decide its fate? Preposterous!
Also, I'd love to buy the soundtracks on the full version release if you decide to release it here or on Steam! I usually prefer steam to see everything categorized and in one place for my games and their soundtracks, but honestly this was such a fresh breath of air that I really don't care where it is pushlished as long as I get to buy it lol
PS. I love isekai fiction. Does anyone have any recommendations? It's been a long time since I've read stuff on novelupdates, and I feel like I consume more self-insert tagged fics on ao3 then they are published hahaha I'd love some original fics like the plot of this game if anybody has any recommendations :3
Edit: I had to add before logging off for the night, I love the character designs, and they match their voice actors really well too. Will there be any character customization options for the MC in the future? I'm kind of enjoying the vibes of not even knowing the MCs gender, not gonna lie, but however you introduce MC's appearance in the narrative I think would be super interesting. Especially if MC comes to the conclusion that the isekai changed their gender/made them older or younger/turned them from a stick to muscle mommy or even that real Bronte didn't exactly fizzle out of existence :D love me some body horror if you couldn't tell kekw
Heya! Honestly a little blown away by this review - glad you're having fun with the story so far. :')
All of the music is actually Creative Commons, though most of it can't be redistributed due to licensing. We'll put up the credits list for the music in a future update. We're also planning on a "canon" appearance for MC later, too.
As for isekai recs, the team has come up with a few. Though they aren't quite the fics you're looking for, we'll likely be on the lookout for more recs in the future:

I love isekai, JRPGs and memes. This is what I call a real combo pfff
No, really, the demo is great. Colorful, with good art and voice acting. Very pleasant music sets the atmosphere. The memes and references made me laugh out loud. I really felt like I'm in MC's shoes, person from our world you know. Like, yeah, man, same.
And I can’t help but ask, is this a purely adventure/fantasy game, or there'll be a dating system too? I'm just a little confused
and sad ngl, 'cos some of the characters are already taken... which is an... unusual for games with a "dating" theme, so.. which of them are ROs? And are they romanceable regardless of MCs gender? He definitely caught my attention! But it's very difficult to choose one. I want to get to know everyone, help them, feel them. Sounds greedy haha. And to be honest, first I want to get to know the characters better to choose my favorite, since the demo focuses more on Asher. I especially want to see Valentin's appearance!
Project lead here! Glad you enjoyed the game. Tama beat me to it, but we're planning to include at least romantic interests for MC - which is to say that we're taking player feedback and interest into account for this game and potential side projects. :')

I can't choose just one character, it's beyond me haha, but I'm definitely interested in male ROs. Gideon, Malachi, Valentin! Even without the sprite he sounds so charming, I want to know him better~ Of course, romance with Costel as a MALE MC would be hilarious, like a little ironic oopsie. But at the same time mysterious Laythe is so... especially considering their role in the plot. In short, I am definitely in team "close combat" ROs lol

Was already crushing hard on Tancred before downloading but I'll gladly see Asher and him getting their story, I can't romance them myself. The Princess Mononoke reference was soo freaking cute!! Very interested to see more about Brontes role, the person they really are in the original world. Also Khulan, as well as Khulan and Vesna's past relationship? Also i guess Bronte being a double agent, kinda explains why they might be on guard with Vesna, bc I was like why is our MC so distrustful and uncomfortable around her, for (imo) no reason. Also am excited to see more of the existing and teased characters like Zaya. :)

The concept of the isekaid person only knowing the context through posts and memes is very amusing, and showing us said memes makes it all the funnier!
I enjoyed playing this little demo, and I'm super intrigued by these characters. Not only are their designs lovely, but they seem to have more going on than it looks at first! I also loooove the voice acting!

this demo was such a delight! I love how all characters are voiced. the twist at the end really surprised me and definitely left me wanting more XD that was fun. can't wait to play the full game!! <3 yall did an awesome job!

Everything came together so well! I had a lot of fun playing and messing with each of the options. Everyone also did an amazing performance and I'm impressed with the voice acting.
I'm still working on the bad end though. The route guide cannot come sooner 😂
