"What a Girl Wants" is a 1999 pop song by American singer Christina Aguilera, from her first album Christina Aguilera. It peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] The song was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 43rd Grammy Awards but lost to Macy Gray's "I Try".[2]
