The Peugeot 407 is a mid-size car produced by the French automaker Peugeot between 2004 and 2011. Designed to succeed the Peugeot 406, the 407 was a part of Peugeot's strategy to compete in the D-segment, with rivals such as the Ford Mondeo, Volkswagen Passat, and Renault Laguna. The 407 was offered in several body styles, including a 4-door sedan, a 2-door coupe, and a station wagon (SW), The 407 was facelifted in 2008 and remained in production until it was replaced by the Peugeot 508 in 2011,
