Martin Lee Gore (born 23 July 1961)[1] is an English singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and DJ. He is one of the members of the Synth-pop band Depeche Mode.[2] Gore is the main songwriter for the band.[3] He is the band's guitarist and keyboardist. He has also provided lead vocals occasionally.[4][5][6] Gore has a tenor singing voice. It contrasts with Dave Gahan's baritone voice. He is also known for his stage persona. Gore has also released several solo albums. He has performed with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke as part of VCMG.[7]
