Lynne Brown (born 26 September 1961) is a South African politician. She served as Minister of Public Enterprises and was also former Premier of the Western Cape province in South Africa after her appointment in 2008.[1]

Early life and career

Brown was born in Cape Town. She was appointed Premier of the Western Cape following the resignation of Ebrahim Rasool in July 2008.[1] She was also the Minister for Economic Development and Tourism.[1][1][2][3]
