Hordaland

Hordaland is a former county in Norway. Hordaland was the third largest county in Norway by population, after Akershus and Oslo. Before 1972, the city of Bergen was its own separate county, split from Hordaland. On 1 January 2020, it was merged with neighbouring county of Sogn og Fjordane to the new county of Vestland. The capital was Bergen.
