Broadcast signal intrusion

A broadcast signal intrusion is the unauthorized takeover of a broadcast signal without permission or a license. These takeovers have happened on local TV and radio stations as well as cable TV and national networks.

Even though TV hijacks tend to get more media coverage, radio stations are hijacked more often.
