Alexander Petrovich Pochinok (12 January 1958 – 16 March 2014[1] ) was a Russian economist and politician. He was the Minister of Taxes and Levies from 1999 to 2000 and Minister of Labor and Social Development from 2000 to 2004.

Pochinok died of cardiac arrest on 16 March 2014, in Moscow, aged 56.[1]
