When ordering on behalf of a UNDP team, country/regional office, or bureau, procurement is managed centrally. Payments can be facilitated by crediting the invoice amount to our CoA (Chart of Account) via a Zero Dollar Invoice. Depending on the order size, discounts of up to 15% may apply. 

Typically, domestic shipping within the US is handled by USPS, while international orders are shipped via DHL. Shipping details, including costs and carriers, are determined based on various factors such as order size and vendor location. 

 Additionally, for large orders originating from our NY HQ, pick-up options may be available at our UNDP Office in DC1. Coordinate pick-up arrangements by emailing us at [email protected]. 

Importantly, orders destined for UNDP offices are exempt from local taxes and duties. The office placing the order is responsible for liaising with DHL (or USPS) to get the merchandise released and delivered to its final destination tax free. UNDP Shop will support by providing any relevant documentation.

No, pouch shipping is not permitted. Bulk and personal orders alike will ship globally with DHL. Standard DHL shipping rates will apply. 

All UN agency personnel can enjoy a 10% discount by logging into their UNDP Shop account with their work email and using code "UNSTAFF" (or "UNDPSTAFF" for UNDP staff) at checkout. If you don't have an account yet, please create one using your work email before placing your order. Note that the UNSTAFF/UNDPSTAFF discount can be combined with the INSTORE coupon.

To purchase from the UNDP Shop, log in using your UNDP/UN agency email and apply the "UNSTAFF" (or "UNDPSTAFF") code at checkout for a staff 10% discount. For large purchases or bulk orders, browse what is in stock and ready to ship on the UNDP Shop website. Email us for our SDGs merchandise catalogue and ordering information. Bulk orders may qualify for a discount of up to 15%.

Yes! If you are in New York, you can arrange for in-person pick-up by simply following these steps:   

1. Use your @undp.org / @un.org / other un agency email to place the order, 
2. apply coupon INSTORE at checkout,  
3. add our shop address as the delivery address: UNDP Shop, 1 UN Plaza, DC-1 1944. New York, NY 10017 - USA  
4. email us at [email protected] to schedule pick-up. 

Paying for UNDP Shop orders for offices, teams, or bureaus is simplified with the Zero Dollar Invoice through Quantum, replacing the GLJE payment method. This credits the invoice amount to our UNDP Shop COA. For UN teams (excluding UNDP), preferred payment methods include credit card link and/or bank wire. Contact us to place your order and for further details.

Official orders placed by any UN agency focal point for their Office, Team, or Initiative may qualify for a customs waiver. The person placing the order should obtain a customs/duties waiver document from the local customs authority to certify the tax exemption status of the buyer, and then liaise with the shipping carrier (DHL or USPS) directly. Contact your Country Office’s (or Team’s) managerial support for assistance with processing customs waivers.

Requirements are subject to change, and we do recommend your Country Office’s (or Team’s) managerial support to check in with local authorities and confirm what is needed exactly. As a general rule, the UNDP Shop staff will provide you with the following documentations: (1) the commercial invoice from the UNDP shop, (2) the Air Waybill indicating the port of origin, vessel identification number, description of the goods and the weight of the goods.
