A downloadable game for Windows

What of mind? No matter! What of matter? Nevermind!

In a strange phenomenon, a young man tries to exit a roadside diner only to continue to loop back into it. But is it the same diner? How will he escape? IS there an escape? And what about that strange yellow child...and the flying monsters made of meat?

Escape a looping Hell scape populated by infinite desperate, crazed doppelgangers violently hunting each other down to become the one who exits...

FEATURES:
-First Person gameplay that supports standard mouse + keyboard controls
- Search for a way out of a looping anomaly where oddities and strange occurrences abound
- Face off against aggressive paradox copies of yourself, or use your environment to sneak around them and avoid conflict!
- Recover mysterious notes scattered throughout the roadside diner, each one detailing a new element of the mystery.
- Collect several strange projection devices that also add clues to the mystery.
- A psychological horror sim about what happens when doors don't work like they usually do, and the next new face you see might just be a familiar one...

This was a fever dream of which I'm not sure where I started or where I went. All I know is that I had a great time beating the breaks off of myself and would do it again!

Awesome vid, thanks!

"You've got some SPIME for saying that young man!"

definitely have never played a game quite like this- and that's a great thing because i really loved this. i'm a sucker for a good "wormhole" story.
character art reminded me a lot of something you'd see in MTV's Celebrity Death Match. reeeal good stuff!

Great game, dude! I can't believe it's been 4 years since I played the old 3D version. I didn't know I had been playing your games for so long haha. This is a great remake though! I loved it! Thanks for keeping me entertained all these years, my friend!

(+1)

Yeah that was a long way back, glad this one didn't break on you! Thanks for playing and posting the vid!

No questions asked, awesome game

(-1)

The game looks cool I don't at all want to take that away from you and it's obvious you put in effort making this, but dude, you should really learn how to add the extremely basic graphics option to give the player access to fullscreen and windowed modes WITHIN the same build instead of releasing separate builds. It's Unity afterall, the ability to do that is literally already built into the engine.

(+3)

guess I was too busy learning literally everything else, but ok, I'm always open to learning new stuff. So, how do you do this simple built in function? In detail, if you would be so kind

Oh cool, so even though my thoughts on your release were overall positive, instead of being reasonable regarding the extremely minor criticism I gave regarding a function that is available in virtually all games, which is a pretty universally expected QoL feature and which, again, has a function for it built into Unity which would only require you to add a few additional lines of code and a basic button to enable/disable it, you decide to seethe and sarcasm-post because you need me to Google something for you.

I gotta be honest dude, I dont really care what you think one way or the other. You just seemed fairly confident of what you were saying, so I thought I'd let a little line out. Didn't anticipate you'd hang yourself with it though, seems like a bad look...

Great game

(1 edit) (+1)

What an amazing game, diffrent to what is normally made, but overall i would love to see this game expanded and more lore into it i see alot of potential with this game!

Thanks, there are 2 other versions floating around on my alt account that hold my earlier work, a 2D version and a 3D version in the 3rd person. They play out a little differently story wise but I feel like this was the best version, closest to my original idea.

This game was entertaining to play and very engaging. I always look forward to your next game. Thank you.

Also, are the flying monsters like The Langoliers from the Stephen King book and movie? They remind me so much of Langoliers.

The monster was VERY much a Langolier ;)
I actually take a lot of influence from King. (SPOILERS: I got the idea for an indifferent super being operating beyond understanding, and having that completely fuck up some random lives from the ending of "Under the Dome")

Thanks for putting up the video, I'll check that out shortly after uploading the 1.0.1 patch that addresses a couple smaller things I noticed in some of these vids. Hope you try out some of my other games in the future!
